Excels Text to
Column Feature
Excel has a text to column feature that can be used to separate data into more than one column. This might be useful if your Eprint file merges two or more columns of data into one when it is converted into Excel. In the example below, the SSN column and the name column were combined when the Eprint file was coverted.

Insert a column after the column that contains data info you want to separate (in this case, the column would be inserted after the first column).

Now select the data that needs to be separated and from the Excel menu, select Data, Text to Columns.

In the Convert Text to Columns Wizard dialog box, Select Fixed Width (or delimited, if that is the case)
