An endowment is a gift that cannot be spent. It is held in perpetuity. The principal is invested to produce income. Endowment income may be spent, according to the donor’s wishes.

Each endowment has two funds:

Principal Fund: 079XXX
Capital Appreciation Fund: 078XXX
