• The advantage of using Way Cool is that it eliminates duplicate data entry and it allows the user to have more control over when the entries are entered in FRS. 

• A disadvantage of using Way Cool is that during the process, there is no account validation at the time the entries are made in the form.  This means that if there are errors in the account number and/or object codes used, or if the accounts have freeze and/or delete flags, these entries will kick out into Suspense when trying to feed FRS.  So please be very careful with the data entry and check all accounts to ensure no freeze or delete flags are in place.

Way Cool Journal Entry Form - Form to use for data entry of journal entry transactions

Way Cool Email Request Form -

Once the journal entry transactions have been entered into the Way Cool Journal Entry Form, the Email Request Form (Excel document) needs to be completed.  The instructions for completion are in the actual form.  Each department in Financial Services has a custom request form, so if you don't have one, please contact Heather McLendon at 6140 or hbmclend@email.uncc.edu .
