The
Grants and Contracts unit is the post-award administration
office for externally sponsored projects for UNC Charlotte.
The services
provided by this unit include:
- Financial
monitoring and reporting of sponsored research
- Assisting
project directors and their staff in following the guidelines
of grants and contracts.
- Performing
account maintainence of grants and contracts including budget
revisions, cost transfers, check requests, travel authorizations,
and maintaining subcontracts
- Preparing
periodic billings and reports and collecting past due bills
The Grants
and Contracts unit is dedicated to serving students, faculty,
staff, administrators, and external entities by providing
relevant financial information that is accurate and timely,
and by offering legal and ethical guidance and advice. This
unit further recognizes an obligation to meet all compliance
factors and guidelines while acting as prudent, conscientious
managers of financial resources for grants and contracts.
This unit is commited to providing courteous and responsive
services to the campus community, various Boards, funding
agencies, and donors.
The Grants
and Contract unit is a division of the office of Sponsored
