Students who register through July 31, 2007 for Fall 2007 classes must pay their tuition and fees in full by August 22, 2007. Tuition and fees not paid by this date will result in the cancellation of the student's registration under the assumption that they will not be attending. All students whose classes are canceled by the University for nonpayment will be charged an administration cancellation fee of $75.00. Any student who has filed the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid" (FAFSA) that has been received by UNC Charlotte will not be cancelled for the Fall 2007 semester. It is the student's responsibility to verify that the FAFSA form has been received by UNC Charlotte.
Nonpayment will not result in the cancellation of Housing, Dining contracts, or Student Health Insurance. Students who wish to cancel or adjust these contracts should contact the Housing Office, Meal Plans, 49er Card and Insurance Office , or the Student Health Insurance Department.
Students who enroll at UNC Charlotte accept
academic and financial responsibility for the classes in which they enroll.
Account balances may be obtained in the Student Accounts Office or on the web.
Neither non-attendance nor nonpayment will result in the automatic cancellation
of the student's academic or financial responsibility for the classes in which
they enrolled.
Students are released from these responsibilities only when they
formally terminate their enrollment (drop classes or withdraw from UNC
Charlotte) with the Registrar's Office, and are subject to the refund
policy previously outlined.

American Express, VISA or MasterCard at the Cashier's Office located on the 2nd floor Reese
Building, 9201 University City Blvd.

and/or meals on a payment plan. The last day to apply for the payment plan for
the Fall is August 17, 2007.
A student who pays a previous balance with a check in order to have a registration hold flag lifted will have their registration cancelled if the bank for any reason returns their check.

Refunds will be made through direct deposit, (See form on-line) or they will be mailed to you. Please enter a refund address on the 49er Express, Student Services, Personal Information.
